Start here

Art worth living with.

Reverie is an independent, family-owned fine art gallery and collective rooted in Downtown Pensacola and connected to collectors, artists, designers and projects around the world. We believe collecting should feel personal, informed and approachable—not intimidating.

This digital playbook introduces how the gallery works, how we care for the collection and our visitors, and how each person contributes to Reverie’s next chapter.

How the business works

Four connected areas of focus

Business operations

Inventory accuracy, Airtable, Shopify, gallery organization, documentation, packaging, labeling and reliable handoffs.

Marketing

Rella planning and scheduling, social storytelling, Mailchimp, website merchandising, media, artist education and collector follow-up.

Community and events

First Friday, artist residencies, pop-ups, music, partners, sponsors and the details that make people feel welcome.

Future Reverie

Outside collectors and artists, valuation, consignment, digital marketplace tools, viewing rooms and broader global reach.

Collection care

Protecting the art comes first.

Before you touch a work

  • Ask before moving, cleaning, unframing or installing.
  • Clear the route and prepare the destination.
  • Wash and fully dry hands; use clean nitrile gloves when directed.
  • Use two people for large, heavy, fragile or awkward works.

Never

  • Lift a frame by its wire or decorative molding.
  • Touch the image area of an unframed work.
  • Spray cleaner near artwork or frames.
  • Attempt a repair or conceal damage.

Daily gallery reset

  • Keep walkways and exits clear.
  • Return tools, paperwork and packaging.
  • Keep labels straight and counters uncluttered.
  • Report condition or location changes immediately.

If you are unsure, pause. Protecting the work matters more than finishing quickly.

Shared creative space

Joy Hodges Designs and Reverie

Joy Hodges Designs is a separate luxury interior design business that shares space and a creative relationship with Reverie. The businesses remain operationally distinct, while their proximity creates natural opportunities to collaborate around interiors, art placement, staging and client projects. Never imply that either business owns, manages or speaks for the other.
